Two ways to take payment. You pick per store.
ShopFast charges per sale only on ShopFast Pay. On your own gateway you pay your provider's fees and nothing to ShopFast per sale, on every plan.

We take the payment as the merchant of record, collect and remit sales tax and VAT, handle chargebacks and pay out your share in crypto.
Your plan's commission per sale (10% on Starter and 5% on Pro), plus $0.30 per order

How does the free trial work?
Your first store gets everything in Pro free for 15 days, with no card. We email you 3 days and 1 day before it ends. Pick a plan any time in Money → Fees & billing; if you don’t, the store moves to Free when the trial ends. Nothing is deleted. The trial is once per account, so later stores start on Free.
What can I do on the Free plan?
Everything you need to start selling: every product type, license keys, bundles, discounts, subscriptions, Discord roles, Fraud Shield and the visual theme editor, with 25 live products and 50 orders a month on your yourname.shopfa.st address. Buyers pay through your own gateways and ShopFast takes no fee per sale. Starter and Pro add room, custom domains, teammates, developer tools, the theme code editor and ShopFast Pay.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing is deleted. At your monthly order cap, checkout pauses until the 1st (UTC) or until you upgrade, and we email you at 80% and 100%. Test and imported orders don’t count. Drafts and archived products don’t count toward live products; over the limit after a downgrade, the newest products wait as drafts and go live again when there is room. Extra custom domains redirect to your shopfa.st address.
What is ShopFast Pay?
ShopFast Pay makes us the merchant of record. We take the payment, collect and remit sales tax and VAT, handle chargebacks, and pay out your share in crypto to the wallet you choose. A processing and tax-handling fee covers that work. It comes out of your share, never the buyer’s price, and every order shows it in your dashboard.
Can I use ShopFast Pay on Free?
Applying for ShopFast Pay needs Starter or Pro, and isn’t open during the trial. A store that was already approved keeps ShopFast Pay on any plan; on Free it pays 15% commission, $0.30 per order and 3% for processing and tax, with a $1 fee per payout.
Can I use my own payment gateway instead?
Yes, on every plan. Connect Stripe, PayPal or your BTCPay Server, or take crypto straight to your wallet, and buyers pay you directly. Your provider charges its own processing fees, and ShopFast takes no fee per sale.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, from Money → Fees & billing. A paid plan starts once its first month is paid; a move to Free applies at once. The new ShopFast Pay fees apply to orders paid after the change.
How is the monthly fee paid?
Plan prices are in USD. Each month of Starter or Pro is taken from your ShopFast Pay balance when it covers it, or invoiced. If a month stays unpaid for 7 days, the store moves back to the Free plan.
