There are many places to sell digital goods, but only a few are built for license keys, game keys, software and Discord memberships. We compared the platforms people ask us about most, using each one's own pricing pages and documentation in October 2026. ShopFast is our own product, so we list where the others are stronger too.

How did we compare them?

ShopFast: best for keys, memberships and Discord communities

Keys with durations, files, accounts, services, memberships and Discord roles are delivered the moment a payment confirms. You connect your own Stripe, PayPal, Square, crypto wallet or another provider, and ShopFast takes no fee per sale on it; ShopFast Pay, where ShopFast is the merchant of record, is available by application. Shopify: best when you also sell physical products

Shopify has the largest ecosystem here: over 16,000 apps, more than 1,300 paid themes, point of sale and Shopify Payments. For keys and software you add apps, and buyers paying through a third-party provider cost an extra 0.2% to 2% depending on the plan. Read ShopFast vs Shopify.

SellAuth: best for the longest list of gateways

Questions people ask

What is the cheapest way to sell game keys online?

Use a platform with no fee per sale and connect your own payment provider: ShopFast, SellAuth and Komerza all take no platform fee on those payments, and a ShopFast store is free to open. Your provider’s processing fee still applies.

Do I need a merchant of record to sell digital products?

Not always. With your own gateway you are the seller of record and handle your own taxes. A merchant of record, such as ShopFast Pay, collects the payment, remits sales tax and VAT and handles chargebacks, for a fee.

Which platform is best for Discord communities?

ShopFast, SellAuth and Komerza all grant Discord roles on purchase. ShopFast also removes them on refunds or when a membership ends and has a bot with commands for buyers and staff.

Can I move my store between platforms?

ShopFast imports exports from Sellix, Billgang, SellAuth, Shoppy and Sellhub, and any single CSV or JSON file, with a dry run before anything is written and a rollback after.
