# ShopFast vs SellAuth: payments, delivery and fraud tools compared

> SellAuth and ShopFast both let you sell digital goods through your own payment accounts with no platform fee per sale. SellAuth and ShopFast have the same basic deal: buyers pay into payment accounts you own, and the platform adds no fee per sale. The differences are in what each includes, which features need a paid plan, and the tools around the checkout. Everything about SellAuth below comes from its own documentation in October 2026.

## Where is SellAuth strong?

- **A very wide gateway list.** SellAuth's docs list more than 15 card processors, platforms such as Lemon Squeezy, Whop and Shopify, and wallets and transfers including PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle and Skrill.
- **Crypto without a payout cycle.** Buyers pay into a wallet SellAuth generates for the shop, and the funds are forwarded to your address.
- **Developer tooling.** A REST API, a checkout API, a reseller API and a theme CLI, with storefronts editable in a visual editor, an AI editor or code.
- **Fraud rules.** Blacklist and whitelist rules on every plan, and advanced rules on VPN, Tor, country and network.

## What does a free ShopFast store include?

On SellAuth, custom domains, subscriptions, crypto beyond Bitcoin and Litecoin, and dispute tools depend on the plan. On ShopFast, a free store includes:

- **Your own domain**, or yourname.shopfa.st.
- **Crypto to your own wallet**: BTC, LTC, ETH, USDC and USDT, from an xpub or an address, with no processor in between. BTCPay Server, NOWPayments, Cryptomus and Heleket work too.
- **Fraud Shield** on every checkout, before and after payment: blocklists, VPN and proxy checks, rules, a risk score, an email code or 3-D Secure step for risky buyers, and a review queue. Disputes get an evidence pack built from the delivery log.
- **Product status pages**, shown on product pages and cards.
- **Discord roles and a bot** with /buy and /redeem for buyers and /lookup, /restock and /push-invoice for staff.
- **Auto-renew** for subscriptions and duration keys, on a saved card.

## How do reviews work on each?

SellAuth sellers can reply to reviews, dispute them and reward them with a coupon. SellAuth also has an optional setting that posts a 5-star review when a buyer leaves none within 7 days. On ShopFast, buyers are asked for a review through a signed link from their order, reviews tied to a paid order are marked verified, and sellers can reply and reward a review with a coupon.

## How do I move from SellAuth to ShopFast?

Open **Settings → Import → Switch platforms** and pick SellAuth. Drop in your exports, or paste an API key to pull products, deliverables, customers, coupons and invoices directly; the key is used for that pull only and never stored. ## Questions people ask

### Does SellAuth charge transaction fees?

SellAuth’s documentation says it does not add a transaction fee on top of your processor’s fees, as of October 2026. Your processor charges you directly.

### Which crypto can I accept on ShopFast without a processor?

BTC, LTC, ETH, USDC and USDT, straight to your own wallet from an xpub or an address, with no ShopFast fee. Set it up in Money → Payments → Crypto.

### Can I import my SellAuth store?

Yes. Use exports or an API key in Settings → Import → Switch platforms. The key is used for the pull only and never stored, and a dry run shows every change first.

### Does ShopFast hold my money?

Not on your own gateway: buyers pay your account directly. Only with ShopFast Pay does ShopFast collect the payment, as merchant of record, and pay out your share.
